Launching the SpeechToDo paid beta
We’re opening a small private beta for SpeechToDo — the local-first voice-to-markdown workspace.
Why paid, why small
Paid because free signups optimize for curiosity, not workflow change. $49 is low enough to be approachable and high enough to filter for people whose capture habit is real.
Small because the first version of the product is concierge — we set it up around the way you already record, not the other way around.
What’s in the beta
- A local watcher that picks up audio dropped into your workspace
- Three markdown artifacts per recording: transcript, summary, action items
- Files written beside the source — no upload, no second app to live in
- Direct founder support during setup and the first weeks of use
What’s not in scope yet
- Team workspaces
- Cloud sync (intentionally — local-first is the point)
- Polished self-serve onboarding
How to join
Tap Join the $49 paid beta on the home page, or ask for founder setup if you want a call before committing.
