We’re shaping SpeechToDo around Cloud for the easiest hosted AI workflow, while keeping local files as the product foundation.

Why paid, why sustainable

Paid because free signups optimize for curiosity, not workflow change. Cloud starts at $6/month (Student), with Pro at $16/month and Business at $30/month per seat, so most users can start without bringing an API key.

What’s in the product

• A local watcher that picks up audio dropped into your workspace
• Three markdown artifacts per recording: transcript, summary, action items
• Files written beside the source where possible
• Hosted AI in Cloud with fair-use limits
• Extra AI usage and storage available as paid capacity

How to start

Tap Start with Cloud on the home page, create or sign in to your SpeechToDo account in the desktop app, and choose the Cloud tier that matches your recording volume.
